Come on, everyone, be bold. Who thinks we are going to make post-season play after all?

It appears Gophers can play in the WBI if they want (just like they did in 2012 and got four more home games from, although few showed up to watch and none of the games were close). Their RPI is good enough that they should get invited. The decision will have to be made by next Monday. It would appear, however, that Gophs may not be interested since, as already pointed out on this forum, they have scheduled their year end banquet before the WBI finals would take place.

The annoying part about the 2012 WBI was that the Gophers, as the next B1G team not to make the NCAA's, were actually eligible for the WNIT. There was some unhappiness to say the least about the WBI decision. Most of the games were not close. However, the final game versus Northern Iowa was close for a while. The Gophers trailed by 9 at the half and by 13 early in the second half. They were still thrashing about when we had to leave to get to a Gopher hockey game at the X. Banham led Minnesota back for an 88-74 win.
