With their two wins this week the Gophers improve from the #8 seed to the #6.

Man, win vs Indiana and Michigan would be really huge for seeding.

With five games to go, we completely control our own destiny playing teams near us in the standings. Can't ask for more than that.

Cliche rollout:

One game at a time.

Respect all opponents.

Don't look past the current game.

Anyone can beat anyone at any time.

Stay focused.

Cliches become cliche because they are true. The Gophers are good enough to win all the rest, but not good enough to count any of them in the win column without top rate effort mentally and physically.

Yea, about the only thing I'm sure of in any of these last six is that most of them will be dogfights.

Wisconsin and Maryland are both away games against teams fighting to win the conference.

Michigan and Indiana are bubble teams who can't afford many more losses. Especially Indiana.

Penn State already beat us once, so even though that one is at home it still is not a gimme.

Despite their record, Nebraska has played seven conferences games within 4 points. They beat Indiana and Maryland on the road, won vs Purdue, and lost to Wisconsin by 1 point in OT. That game is not a guaranteed win even though it is at the Barn.

I really like where the Gophers are in terms of potentially advancing if they were to be the 6 seed. I'd almost rather be the 6 seed than the 5 seed to be honest, assuming we can't get up to the 4 seed, which after NW's win last night became a little less likely.

I think avoiding Maryland for the longest time possible is a huge key as they will have the home court advantage.
