Ohio State junior forward Stephanie Mavunga will be out for the "foreseeable future" with a foot injury, women's basketball coach Kevin McGuff said Friday.
The 6-foot-3 forward from Brownsburg, Indiana, injured her right foot during practice Thursday and did not participate in practice Friday morning.
"We are optimistic that she will be back before the end of the season," McGuff said...
Her absence will likely mean more playing time for freshman forward Tori McCoy and junior forward Alexa Hart, who is expected to return Sunday against Iowa after sitting for Ohio State's game at Wisconsin last Saturday with a sprained ankle.
