Bill Cooper dies at age 73

Bill Cooper was key in the push to bring the Gophers back to campus, and he topped it off with naming rights by TCF.

Wow, aren't you gracious. No class buddy, no class.

Just because a prominent figure is dead, doesn't mean he Cant be discussed. The man created a retail bank with no minimum balance checking, and very high fees, and no overdraft protection. I was not super pleased TCF got the naming rights, it was the Top Ramen of banks. No secret in retail that TCF checks were viewed with more suspicion than others.

As head of the IR party, he certainly made himself a public figure. We can talk about him without being accused of grave dancing.
