***OFFICIAL IOWA AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!!***

We've gotten beat to every 50-50 ball all game long...so frustrating!

A great 25 seconds on defense, then give up an easy offensive rebound.

Too many times we see Pitino say something like "what are you doing?"

Jordan Murphy is such a bad defender. Sticks his hands where they don't belong for absolutely no reason. Terrible foul. He just can't be on the floor in crunch time.

Did I not say floater passes suck but no one is listening to me

My lip reading expertise says Richard P to Murphy, "What are you doing?"

That sequence there is all about being lazy. So so bad.

How do they allow their coaches to do that?

The player called timeout at he same time Murphy grabbed the ball.

Monumental choke underway

Pitino really is childish. He constantly looks at his players with a sneer on his face and says to them "what are you doing". Better question would be "what the hell are you doing Pitino to coach these guys in the game.". Oh yeah, Pitino hates arguably the most important part of his job: game day coaching. Pitino needs a coach to improve his coaching.

It's the sign of a great coach and a heady point guard when you come out of a timeout, with 20 seconds left, and you run a top of the key iso with your pg who happens to be a somewhat below-average ballhandler. Glad Mason made something happen there but that is really bad last-possession offense.

Mason moves to off guard next year, right?

"Lighten up, Francis."

Agreed. He never called timeout during Iowa's big run until after the Hawkeyes had the lead and all the momentum. Instead, he stood there looking dumbfounded and pouty. And the game has been a scrambling mess on our end ever since.

I would have been upset if Mason didn't have the ball at the end. He needs to be the leader.
