Much was made about the Barn being alive again against Wisconsin. A lot of that attendance was built on the early conference success and Badger infiltration. Turtles travel slowly, so what is anticipated attendance for tomorrow? Nothing better than a Saturday afternoon Big Ten BB game at the Barn, but it is versus a non-traditional, but quite good, conference foe. From the website, the upper deck end zone seats are mostly available. Hopefully, a large walk up crowd decides to watch the Gophs get a quality win.

Anyone watching the OSU game the other night now realizes how tough it is to keep these arenas full and exciting. OSU is at the top end of the conference year after year. They are having one lousy year (for them) and the place was half empty. Considering where our program has gone since the Final Four- our fans are incredible. Let's hope it's a great crowd. Anyone that went to the Wisconsin game had a blast - even with the bad outcome.

Guess is crowd will be less than the B1G opener vs. Michigan State (11,407). If it's better than that, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

The casual fans want to believe, but they're not going to dive in full-steam (understandably) until the Gophers at least start winning at home.
