Go Gophers!!

Good to see these guys getting their rightful props. I think Smith is something special and can fit into almost any offensive scheme. Kid is a Swiss Army knife when it comes to the array of tools he has. Curious to see how Richardson is used if schemes change.

Was Richardson's injury in the bowl game ever disclosed?

Cool

Go Gophers!!

How far out of the Top 25 are Shannon Brooks, Emmit Carpenter, Blake Cashman, Jon Celestin, Gaelin Elmore, Brandon Lingen ?
Who else is in the mix for the Gophers?

So awesome to have two backs who are capable...

Year, Att, Yds, Yds/Att, TD

Shannon Brooks
2015, 119, 709, 6.0, 7
2016, 138, 650, 4.7, 5

Rodney Smith
2015, 157, 670, 4.3, 2
2016, 240, 1158, 4.8, 16

Brooks' YPC was ridiculous in 2015. Both averaged about the same this year.
Great to have them both!

I think Brooks has the potential to be every bit as good as Rodney too. He was fighting his way back after his early season injury. Either way it is nice to have 2 options and I love how both are capable pass catchers too.
