Should be another great title game.

Obvious TARGETING by Alabama.
That was straight up dirty.

I hope the tide gets destroyed.

Out goes one 6'3" 240 pound running back, in comes another 6'2" 240 pound running back. Alabama is just not fair.

Too easy. I was all in going for it on 4th down, but Bama eats good field position for breakfast.

Alabama should already have two guys ejected

Certainly called against the gophers.

Another Alabama targeting

Has Alabama been called for targeting this season?

I wonder how bad it will have to be for the refs to actually call targeting today.

Time for Watson to go bat crazy and do something good.

Has Alabama been called for targeting this season?

Listening to that "expert" rationalize those targeting hits makes me puke. Anybody who thinks there isn't favoritism in these calls is an idiot.

Disgusting that they didn't make any of those calls. What a joke. Way worse than 90% of our targeting calls

If a punt is blocked and rolls on the ground, isn't that a live ball?

Feels like game over. I swear...

Nice stand by the Clemson defense

No. It's live if it's blocked and doesn't cross the line of scrimmage. If it crosses the line of scrimmage, it's just treated as a normal punt.

So if the ball is touched by receiving team beyond the line of scrimmage and it rolls on the ground, it is live? (a Craig James muffed punt, for example)

Yes.

14 is a lot against this defense.

Found this funny.
"Kudos to the grounds crew for removing the chalk outline of Iowa's CJ Beathard before tonight's game."

Assuming Alabama wins tonight, they will have won 5 of last 8 championships.

Is this good for college football?

It is neither good nor bad for college football

Nope. As evidenced by the snoozefest that most of the championship games they have played in have been.
