A cold start for Mitch doesn't stop him from leading HIS GOPHER TEAM to a come from behind victory in Madison, 24-10.

TC elects to defer the opening possession, much to the chagrin of the GoPhers faithful. After a bruising 80-yard drive, capped off by a 35-yard TD scamper, the GoPhers respond with senior, Jalen Myrick's 94-yard kick off return for a touchdown.

In each team's next 2 possessions, they each had to punt.

With :13 left in first half, Badgers take 10-7 lead into locker room.

2nd half opens with Gophers' QB Mitch Liedner, launching 60-yard bomb to his fave target, Drew Wolitarski, GoPhers lead 14-10 - and never look back. Wisconsin's running game never gets traction, as they are held to season low, 62 yards.

Leidner marches Minnesota down on 8-minute scoring drive to end the 3rd quarter, on Carpenter's 24-yard FG, leading 17-10.

With :47 left in the game, Shannon Brooks gets into end zone on 3-yard TD run, GoPhers Win!!

Hoping this post inspires some to the POSSIBILITIES that Minnesota has a Senior led team. A team that KNOWS adversity! Has overcome it! And a 12 year drought is long enough!!!

Go GoPhers!!!
