I'm hoping that the NCCA takes a look at all targeting penalties and examines what it is doing wrong and how it hurting teams and also players that are kicked out for no reason. I understand the importance of the rule but good grief.
 

I would think that at a minimum they would consider modifying the rule and allowing a rules committee to review calls in between games and overrule unwarranted suspensions that carry over into the next game. I.e. bad enough ref can blow a call that can change one game, no reason to allow them to blow a call that affects more than one game.
 

I think you mean the NNCA...
 

This rule needs to either be fully clarified to all coaching staffs and referees or immediately modified.

It is unconscionable that we have lost, at least, six defensive players in six hales this season.
