Decent offer list at the moment. That could climb during his senior season. 5 B1G teams have offered him including us.

With Class of 2018 recruiting ramping down with the majority of top prospects committed, the recruiting for Class of 2019 will be taking off with junior day invites and spring practice/games for coaches to evaluate to talent in the state. Recruiting for Class of 2019 in Minnesota maybe close to be done with offers out to Edina's Quinn Carroll and Lakeville North's Bryce Benhart and commitments from Eden Prairie's Cole Kramer and Owatonna's Jason Williamson. Recruiting of Minnesota preps has taken off in late December with FBS offers from Arkansas State out to Mpls North WR Nasir El-Amin (5'11 180), who is a cousin of Khalid and Cooper WR Adrian Adams (6'1 180). Breck QB/Ath David Roddy (6'5 245) picked up an offer from NDSU. Wayzata TE Billy Riviere (6'4 240) picked up an offer from North Dakota. For those that follow Minnesota HS football, please feel free to review the list I have pulled together for top players in the state and let me know if I have missed anyone. In particular this request goes to out state fans, where there is less football/recruiting coverage.

I'll add Mason Zick to the list, a 6'6" QB from Northfield. He'll be a senior next year, and didn't get all that much playing time behind this year's senior QB, but he's a talent I haven't seen in quite a while. Quite the arm, throwing a 65 yard pass for completion (that's 65 yards in the air, not including yards-after-catch). Not sure about his ability to run (he does play guard on the basketball team, so he's got some mobility), guess we'll see more in his senior year.

KSTP: Eden Prairie QB Cole Kramer Reacts to Committing to Gophers

Eden Prairie junior quarterback Cole Kramer chatted with KSTP Sports' Darren Wolfson about his 2019 commitment to the Minnesota Gophers.

Kramer talked about why he chose the Gophers, P.J. Fleck's attitude, getting the call from Fleck when he was offered the scholarship, what he needs to improve on in the offseason and next year, still beaming from the state championship victory, and much, much more.

Kramer also received interest from Iowa and Michigan State. He was the first commitment for the Gophers' 2019 Class.

https://kohlskicking.com/player-profiles/brady-weeks

During the Kohl’s Underclassmen Challenge, Weeks solidified his place at the top of the Kohl’s national rankings. He snaps the ball with tremendous velocity and crisp rotation. During the Underclassmen Challenge, he finished the charting portion of camp with an average snap time of .65 seconds. The ball jumps off his hands unlike anyone else in the country. Weeks is an elite talent and will make an immediate impact at any program in the country.

Long snapper is important, of course, but I don't like offering a scholarship to any long snapper, no matter how good they are.

Payton Jordahl has been on scholarship since he was a Sophomore so it's really nothing new.

Agree, I was going to post the same. Maybe a kicker or punter every 4-5 years, but don’t understand the need to put a long snapper on scholarship, especially out of high school.

Yeah seems like a waste. They can't find a walk on long snapper?

Jordahl was at least in the program for a few years. This is a high school recruit. Have we ever given a full ride scholarship to a high school long snapper before? I can’t think of one.

Puzzling That’s a scholarship tied up for 4 or 5 years, with competition eliminated. I know he is rated # 1 but on the tape half the the snaps required the receiver to adjust to receive a less than perfect snap. If those were field goals it’s a bigger issue. I’d rather see an extra QB prospect! ☺️

saw that the Gophers just gave an offer to a top kicker today. I'm guessing the long snapper is part of the recruiting pitch to the kicker.
