Official 2019 Recruiting Updates Thread: Links, Tweets, Videos, Stories, Rumors, etc.

I haven't heard, but if the weather around campus turned out like it in my neck of woods.....let's hope some of those kids really enjoy making snowmen.

Nothing at all in Lakeville. Guessing campus was the same.

Roberson rehab going well, Big Ten offers coming through

Minnesota is another offer of interest because Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck and his staff have recruited at Shores before when they were at Western Michigan. They signed Asantay Brown, who turned in an outstanding career for the Broncos and is now projected to be taken in April's NFL Draft. They also had a commitment Roberson's older brother Darece, who subsequently ended up at Wayne State.

"I know their coaches real well," Roberson said. "When my brother was getting recruited by them back at Western, I was looking into the process and saw how they do it and I like those coaches."

Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and others continue to monitor his progress as well. Both of those in-state Big Ten programs told Koziak they will be back in the spring to see him.

It is impressive. In BRC (Basic Reconnaissance Training for Marines.....sort of the Marine's equivalent of SEAL or Special Forces - aka Green Beret - training selection/training courses), they force you to become a Gophers fan for 48 hours. If you make it through, you truly have the iron will to pull yourself through any situation, no matter the odds. Only a small fraction make it the 48 hours. Most don't last the first 12.

Oorah, Hungan. Seriously, though. It takes some serious fortitude to be a long-time fan of this garbage program without getting beaten down.

I've been in this cave for too long. I keep banging my head on the wall because it feels good every time I stopped. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

For all of differences in personality on this board, we all do have this in common. Life would be so much easier if I was born to be an Ohio State fan.

Nah, I love Walleye fishing and the cold frigid winters too much.

It sucks how unusually cold it's been for this time of year.

Younger Beebe committed to Kansas State today.

Three teammates from Springfield Ohio HS visited with the Gopher coaches after their Iowa State visit on March 23.
The three are DT Isaiah Gibson, Safety Moses Douglas, and WR Mike Brown-Stephens.

Safety Douglas decided commit to Kentucky on 3/31. He has 30 offers including the Gophers. https://247sports.com/Player/Moses-Douglass-81298

DT Gibson is showing 80% Kentucky lean, but is warm to the Gophers. He has a Gophers offer and 17 others. https://247sports.com/Player/Isaiah-Gibson-91357 He'd be a great get for the Gophers Defense.

WR Brown-Stephens did not get an offer from the Gophers on his trip. But, PJ Fleck wants to see him in at a satellite camp in Ohio. It looks like he could be a possible fall back plan.

Maybe Younger Beebe wants to be closer to home.

I don't mean this as any kind of rip on PJ, but this isn't a surprise.

His older brother committed to Kill and then played a lot under Claeys and saw his PT cut drastically under PJ.

I think Papa Beebe played for Kill as well.

Beebe is low 3*, we have enough low 3*'s/2* commited already with Williamson, Weeks, and Kramer. It's a good thing he picked KS I say.
