Terry Baker, who won the 1962 Heisman was born in Pine City, MN. He became the first player from west of the Mississippi to win it. He also was the starting point guard on the Beaver's Final Four basketball team in '62. He remains the only athlete to win a Heisman and play in the Final Four. Quite the senior year. He was also a great student who graduated from OSU with a degree in Mech. Engineering and later got a Law degree from USC.

Just a small edit. He was born in Pine River, not Pine City. I couldn't imagine a potential Dragon doing anything so spectacular.

It's stuff like this that makes it hard to win in Minnesota!
