per ESPN:

Six weeks before the college football season kicks off, Alabama is the consensus favorite to win the national championship. But the Crimson Tide are not the most popular bet in Las Vegas.

More bets have been placed on the Michigan Wolverines to win the national title than any other team at multiple Las Vegas sportsbooks. The Wolverines' championship odds have moved from 15-1 to 7-1, making them the second favorites behind Alabama at the Westgate SuperBook.

More money has been bet on Michigan to win the championship than any other team at the SuperBook, and Jim Harbaugh's squad has attracted 10 percent of all the national title bets at William Hill's Nevada book. The Wolverines also have attracted the most bets to win the title at the MGM and Westgate sportsbooks.

Go Gophers!!

Vegas is always in love with Michigan. They give an extra 3-5 points on every line to help balance the money.

Bet's like "Michigan to win it all" is what has built all those shiny buildings on the strip.

I would bet on Michigan winning the East, but the national championship? Not this year at least.

Two biggest games of the year
@Michigan State
@Ohio State.
The casinos will be getting richer. I would bet Michigan in 2017. Another strong recruiting class in the program and their two big rivals will come to Ann Arbor

Meat chicken won't even get close enough to sniff the CFP!!!

But they also get the Gophers back on the schedule in 2017 ;)

That is a sucker bet. What are the odds for Florida State, LSU, or Oklahoma?
