I'm ready for the U to announce another big donor. I'm looking at you, 3M / Target / Carlson Companies / Cargill / T Denny...
 

it was at $94 million before coyle got on board. $1m certainly qualifies as uptick and certainly beats the alternative.

How does this actually work? Just promises? Money in the bank? Escrowed until a higher threshold is reached?
 



I'm sure that at this point they are counting signed pledges., they can be broken or reneged on, but they are usually honored.
 

I hear Doogie is now in charge of fundraising at the U.

Doogie, the gold standard for journalistic integrity.

So Beth can't get any donations and Coyle has money coming in already.... He has no info on either situation, but it just how he wants to spins it.
