I'm ready for the U to announce another big donor. I'm looking at you, 3M / Target / Carlson Companies / Cargill / T Denny...
 

it was at $94 million before coyle got on board. $1m certainly qualifies as uptick and certainly beats the alternative.

How does this actually work? Just promises? Money in the bank? Escrowed until a higher threshold is reached?
 



I'm sure that at this point they are counting signed pledges., they can be broken or reneged on, but they are usually honored.
 

I hear Doogie is now in charge of fundraising at the U.
