Usually it's cheaper if you travel a lot to use the rental rate. This wasn't always the case, but has been so for the last five years. I only topped it off my first time, then realized I lost my firm money, not to mention the wasted time.
Funny, it costs $6,000 per hour for private jet (rate implied from the strib article), and they want Pitino to take longer to potentially save a few dollars on gas? Granted maybe there is a separate waiting rate, but this is part of the calculation. Any accountant worth their salt should have quickly noticed this incongruity with the audit finding.
Not to mention the findings are rather out of line with what I'd expect to see.... there is no clear control deviation..... count me as a skeptic. I have half a mind to file a complaint against the department head and regent in charge with the state board. More details would be needed, but this is a potential Objectivity ethical violation for the auditor with final responsibility.

Doing a quick search I found BGF is still active and lists location as Denver. Last post was 4 days ago.
