Over the last 5 seasons, Minnesota is 10th, ahead of Northwestern, Nebraska, Penn State and Rutgers.

I like to think of the Gophers as being a cut above those guys, but we're still in the third quartile of the Big Ten. Doesn't help that we've arguably underacheived for 4 of the last 5 seasons, with Pitino's first year being the exception, and 2011-12 was the year Mbakwe got hurt early in the season. Our post-season performance has been better than the teams below us though.
 

Hard to argue the 10 slotting. I am tired of being a bottom tier team.
 

Interesting read, I do like how our recruiting classes are trending though, go from 88th, to 60th, 40th, to 23. Hopefully that will lead to results this year. I imagine the 17 class will drop in ranking due to quantity, but hopefully we bring in the right two or three players
