per ESPN:

Calhoun earned praise from several media outlets after the game -- like this, and this -- but the Georgia native didn't just wait until the scrimmage to break out. He started making an impact weeks before that; offensive line coach Bart Miller complimented him back in March.

"Vince has had a great spring," Miller told a group of reporters. "He's shown he is a very tough competitor and, as he continues to grow and get more developed and understand the offense, I think you're starting to see him really mature."

Because the Gophers lack some depth here, Calhoun has quickly become a valuable part to this offense. Claeys said right tackle Jonah Pirsig was may be the spring's offensive MVP -- he's a two-year starter with 32 games of experience -- so it's clear the right side of this line should cause a lot more problems for opposing defenses in 2016. Calhoun will only get better.

Go Gophers!!

Would love to have an OL that can bully opposing DLs finally. With our backs, it could be special.
