Been at Rivals since 2007, and the material is quite pathetic right now.

Where is the best spot for premium content?
Rivals
247
Scout

Rivals collapsed, just a bunch of s*** trolls now.

I've been happy with Scout since.

I've never paid for any of that stuff but I like 247's composite score thing. Rivals sometimes seems surprisingly far off from everyone else, either they don't care or they're just trolling. Either way I don't bother with them.

I go where ryan burns goes. He is the best. so its Scout for me

Gopher Hole is the best site, same info 10 minutes later.

I did rivals for a while, wasn't too impressed. I'd rather donate to the free site and get the same info then pay any of those sites to be "privileged" to know what a 18 year old is deciding 10 minutes before anyone else. Granted I was around way back when Gopher Hole was the rivals site and it was mostly free.

I did a free trial of Scout with Ryan Burns and have stayed on after the monthly charge kicked in. I like both Scout and GH though. Don't really pay much attention to any of the other websites.

Matt Jessen Howard has been doing a pretty good job for Rivals for the most part of he has been pretty busy lately so the new guy, Nick Williams, has been more active recently. He doesn't have the insider sources that the other guys do right now though due to his inexperience so Rivals has been lacking lately. Over the summer I expect it to get back to par however when MJH finishes up his classes at the U and Nick Williams gets some more experience.

Hmm, I thought recruiting sites were like porn sites. Didn't think anyone paid for the premium sites, just dealt with the occasional virus and pop-up.

Burns is best for content. He's going to give you content to read. Podcast is good too, but that isn't premium. Burns was the go-to guy for the last few years, but he's actually been scooped a lot by 247 the last few months. Really since 247 had their lead writer leave to work in the Gopher recruiting department. So they've got a new competitive advantage. They don't pump out content like Burns, but their insider info is actually coming out faster than Scout.

So, Burns is better for all-around coverage, but 247 is actually the go-to insider at the moment IMO. Burns is also lacking on X and O's, you get more of that at 247. So it's a preference thing. Not meant to bash Burns, I pay for both because you get a little something different with each site.

Burns definitely has more daily inside information on recruiting than the others. The man never sleeps.

The operator of rivals is a real dink. The other 2 site owners are good dudes. If you don't want your money going to a jerk, don't go to rivals. That's my thought.

Why pay at all? Still don't understand the moral dilemma. Thanks for the info from all you guys that do.

You can make your website "copy and paste" proof if you want. They do not.
