per the STrib:

Gophers junior defenseman Michael Brodzinski agreed to terms with the San Jose Sharks on Thursday.

Brodzinski will be on an amateur tryout agreement for the remainder of this season, then his three-year entry level contract will kick in for 2016-17. He is expected to immediately join San Jose’s AHL team, the Barracuda, which shares a rink with the parent club.

The 20-year-old Brodzinski played three seasons for the Gophers and was second team All-Big Ten this season after scoring eight goals and adding 13 assists in 37 games.
