It sounds like those new lines will remain mostly intact as the Gophers travel to Ohio State to take on the Buckeyes over the weekend. Lucia said the team had been practicing with those lines, though there’s a chance he could change a few more things around before Friday’s game.
“(Last) Friday night each line scored, which is great to see, but on Saturday, I don’t think we had all three lines, at least our top three lines, play as well as we needed, and maybe that’s just an individual or two that I need to have a little conversation with,” Lucia said.
Lucia moved Taylor Cammarata to a line with Kloos and Tyler Sheehy, Reilly to a line with Tommy Novak and Hudson Fasching, and Leon Bristedt to the third line with Brent Gates Jr. and Vinni Lettieri.
“We all play with each other, whether it’s 2-on-3 in practice, 3-on-2s, we shuffle lines around,” Kloos said.
