What passes for an AD Search Process at MN:

Months 1-5: Do absolutely nothing

Month 6: Form a committee to discuss how to possibly conduct a search.

Month 7: Hear recommendations on how to conduct a search

Month 8: Decide how to conduct the search

Month 9: Begin search

Month 10: Finish search

Month 11: Make a decision

A process most schools can do in 30-60 days takes a year. Ski U Mah!
 

Don't forget the high-priced consultants. It's in the budget.

Not true. They probably formed a committee to talk about forming the other committee.
 



Who are they hearing the recommendations from? Anyone know???

So we have yet to even have a recommendation for a process to begin the search? And we wonder why we haven't won a B1G title in basketball or football in my lifetime.
 

The only thing I can hope is this is Kaler's way of buying time to audition Goetz for the position before he makes a decision.

True. I'm too hard on the U. They are swift and decisive. I do feel I was too hard on dithering Joel Maturi. He was the living embodiment of the rest of the U decision makers.
