per CBS:

Jim Harbaugh is pulling out all of the stops this recruiting period. He's been going to sleepovers with recruits, climbing trees and doing anything else he feels necessary to land top prospects.

On National Signing Day, Harbaugh and Michigan's football program are throwing a party with some big names in attendance. None of the celebrity attendees are bigger -- Wooooo! -- than wrestling legend "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

Go Gophers!!

He is counting 2 Sporting News titles

How does he even say "16 time World Champion" with a straight face? Maybe he doesn't know.

Was Harbaugh this annoying at Stanford? Seems like he turned up the ******-factor to 11...

Tough to say, I doubt most of us payed much attention to what he was doing at Stanford since we really weren't recruiting against them much. He certainly seems to be going all out and trying some crazy things but as to whether this is new or not is tough to say. Gotta love the messed up world of recruiting.

At least Lesnar earned a Varsity letter at the U and is an actual M club member

Brock Lesnar should show up and F5 Harbaugh through a table.

If Flair is appearing at Michigan's NSD event, he is likely being paid. That guy only does events or appearances if he is being paid. He is a deadbeat on his bills and probably needs the money
Brock Lesnar showed up to a U of M Volleyball game as a fan, that's way different than being paid to show up to an even. He is a Gopher, an Alumn that has represented the U as a great ambassador, the other guy may be a celebrity but he only spent one semester in school
Ric Flair is not a Gopher. Lesnar may be an entertainer these days, but that doesn't take anything away from the kind of athlete he is. You can tell he is still a legitimate world class athlete. World class athlete and the name Ric Flair with those man boobs never went hand and hand. Yes the Ric Flair woo needs to die at the stadium, and be replaced by Suplex City.

Ric Flair must be a whole hell of a lot more relevant than I'd ever imagined

Tom Brady and Derek Jeter are also going to be participants in Michigan's NSD shindig, yet they don't even rate a mention in this silly article? Well alrighty then...
