The Minnesota Gophers have swept the Big Ten weekly hockey awards.
The university said Tuesday that three Gopher players were honored by the conference for their performances in last weekend's sweep over Wisconsin.
Defenseman Michael Brodzinski was named Big Ten First Star of the Week. Junior forward Hudson Fasching was the Big Ten Second Star of the Week, while freshman goaltender Eric Schierhorn was the conference's Third Star of the Week.
