“I think we just have to get shots to the net, get bodies to the net. I think if we have a big body in front of the net, it’s going to be hard to see for him. So we just have to get pucks and bodies to the net.”
On how playing well defensively against PSU will carry over to this weekend:
“We’re starting to get a lot of confidence in our squad. I think that’s huge for us. The confidence aspect of the game is really coming along really well and I think that’s big for us going against Michigan State.”
Justin Kloos
On how to get pucks past Hildebrand:
“We need to get pucks to the net. Obviously, he’s a really good goalie. Last year we struggled to score five-on-five against them so we need to get a lot of traffic to the net. Having a guy in front so we can start beating him from anywhere but a couple feet. We’ll probably just have to throw a lot at him. I don’t know if there will be many pretty ones this weekend because of the way Michigan State plays but I think if we get out chances, some will go in for us.”
On playing in his 100th game as a Gopher:
“I didn’t even know that, that’s wild. It feels like just a couple days ago I was on campus as a freshman so it’s pretty exciting.”
