Fighting Hawks Win UND Nickname Vote

Save the Hawks from this clear injustice

As a member of the "Save the Hawks" campaign, I'm extremely offended by UND's decision to portray Hawks as fighters. We consider Hawks to be a gentle bird, and in no way, shape or form are they violent. It is an abomination that a Division I university can be so uncaring, insensitive, non-inclusive, non-progressive, non-diverse, and just in general a hater toward our wonderful bird.

We will be suing UND, and also contacting the NCAA to make sure it doesn't allow the Hawks name to be dragged into the mud by this obvious affront to all proud non-fighting Hawks.
