Here 1 thread for other games around the country. We start off with Western Illinois going into Madison and upsetting 17 rank Wisconsin.

:clap::clap::clap:

Looks like Marquette will have a very tough year. They are down 27 at the half against Iowa. Just 2 of 19 from the field. Looks like Wally is getting a few minutes of action.

Wally a good example of an athlete who plays basketball. Great athlete, but can't play.

Wow Ohio St lost to UT-Arlington and UW now has two loses!

Well it was never supposed to be a particularly good year for OSU, but certainly they were not expected to lose that game so it was a surprise. They have a lot of freshmen and the non-freshmen don't seem to play like leaders, either. Wisconsin was preseason top-25 coming off an NC game appearance, so struggling like they are now is probably the bigger story. Georgetown had lost to Radford earlier in the year.

northern iowa knocks off UNC!

Northern Iowa beats North Carolina! I have no idea why UNC was playing a road game in Cedar Falls (maybe for Iowa native Marcus Paige who is injured?), but they go to the UNI and lose 71-67. This is not the UNI team of last year (already lost at home to Colorado State) and they start a 6'9 guy and four guards (including former Virginia player/Tubby target Paul Jesperson). UNC outrebounds UNI 40-30 out shoots them from the field 44.8-42.1, and have 17 assists to UNI's 10. The differences were 3 point shooting (UNI 11-28, UNC 5-18) and turnovers (UNC 12, UNI 6). A very odd result considering UNI doesn't appear to have done anything amazing, yet they outscored the Tar Heels by 13 in the second half to get the huge upset win over number 1.

Illinois now 1-3 after losing at home to Chattanooga.

The rest of the conference is making me feel way better about this year. Plus the anticipation of the next few years, but still. Can't remember the last time the conference looked this underwhelming. Even Maryland has looked like crap playing terrible teams.

Chris Mullen's St. John's squad has lost by 32 in an exhibition against DII St. Thomas Aquinas and by 37 to #17 Vandy. That's going to be an interesting tenure to watch.

Illinois is losing by 8 at half to Chicago State, Chicago State has 3 wins against D2 and lower programs. Unbelievable.

I'm also a Gonzaga fan and Josh Perkins has been a bit of a disappointment so far. For those that don't remember we were in his final 3 teams. 4 star PG from Denver.

Also A&M is looking really good. Fitzgerald would have had to battle for minutes. So at least he left a good team looking for more minutes instead of leaving a bad one for more minutes.

WOW St John's. Just loss by 23 points tonight.

Incarnate Word defeats St. John's 73-51

Utah and Coach K about to take out Coach K. Good game.

Go Gophers!!

Iowa has a surprisingly easy win over #1 Michigan State last night.

This KU-OU game, #1 vs #2 game going into double OT is awesome!

The shot selection by both teams down the stretch has been suspect, but what a game!

Great game. How did Kansas get Perry Ellis 8 years of eligibility? Seems like he has been around forever (and kinda looks like it too).

Saw many people on twitter upset with the refs at the end of regulation because they want "the players to decide the outcome, not the refs". If there is a foul that obvious, you have to call it. The refs don't decide the game, the player who commit the foul do. That has always annoyed me.

Wasn't that a violation on KU on that inbounds pass/steal? It seemed like the defender's arms were actually reaching across the line.

Great game, glad I got to watch all 3 OT's.

OU made one substitution from the 9:07 mark in the 2nd half, until the final seconds of the 3rd OT when one of their guys fouled out.

Go Gophers!!

Great game. Shame OU couldn't pull it off.

LSU blowing out Kentucky - up 16 with about a minute to go.

Go Gophers!!

To deliver the proper firm handshake, first start with the "stinkpalm".
