Kind of curious how we are ranked that high?
And if we finished with a ranking in the 60's at season's end how many people would be pleasantly surprised?
Are these rankings still based partially off of last season's results? Because if they are, it would seem Indiana, Purdue, Michigan, and probably us, are too high. But then the rankings seem like they would be significantly more messed up if they were based purely on the one game that most teams have played at this point.
They are based on data from the previous season. I think I read that once the season is 15 games in the rankings no longer use anything from last year.
We comin!Gophers tied for #163 in RPI.
Texas Tech (11-1, 1-0, B1g XII, #5 RPI, #39 KenPom)
Next 2 Games: Wednesday @ Iowa State, Saturday host Kansas
We'll find out a lot about TT over the next 7 games. 5 of them vs ranked opponents, with one of the unranked being a solid K-State team.
