Go Gophers!!

GW gonna be pissed. ...

That can't t get it done unless they backtrack and impliment his method... or else they are just stubborn idiots... wait, that's him.

Props to Norwood for getting the ball rollng on two major sports facilities upgrades, too bad his horny tongue prevented him from being at the ribbon ceremony.

I don't feel sorry for him, but feel he was pretty good at his job.

GW will be there for the ground breaking, furiously filling the dirt back into the hole as soon as the dignitaries turn it over. He'll be dragged away by security maniacally yelling "THEY DIDN'T FOLLOW THE PLAN! THEY DIDNT FOLLOW THE PLAN!

What could possibly screw this up?

Headlines that would derail the start:

"Brewster conspired to host Boat Parties for recruits!"

"Tubby stopped recruiting his final 2 years!" - oh wait this was close to true.

"Tubby's son covered for Dad in DUI case!"

"Goldy isn't really a Gopher!"

The cynic in me says it will happen.

You forgot, "Like father, like son: Richard Pitino brings escort service to Twin Cities"

I disagree, not sure why she would deserve much credit.

She has done a lot of legwork. There has been more than a few articles about how she & Dan O'Brien (who is the ADA in charge of football and facilities) have been talking to potential donors and holding their hand through the Norwood crap.

Best post in here.

She also delayed the vote until they could develop a plan to replace the track. Something that NT didn't bother considering. It ended up being a major factor in addressing the investigation and getting it passed by the board. I doubt the board would have approved the plan without a solution for a new track.

It'll be a great day for all Gopher fans, except 1.

Fixed it for you. Some guy here only to push his struggling blog ain't a fan. Despite not figuring out how to do that right, it hasn't stopped him from knowing more than lawyers, doctors, financial people, university administrators, coaches.

He will show up and say he "never said they wouldn't build it, just that the plan had to drastically change, which it did."

Move them damn goalposts.

Very true. He does love him some Marquette basketball, but that's about it.
