And 2nd in the Big Ten:

A preseason coaches poll released Monday shows that the University of Minnesota men’s hockey team is predicted to finish second in the Big Ten this season.

The Gophers are the two-time defending champions of the Big Ten in the regular season. Minnesota won the Big Ten Tournament last season to earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The league’s coaches picked the Gophers to finish second behind Michigan this season.

We are young but I wouldn't count us out!
 




Personally, I don't see this team as being very good. Expecting a season of complete mediocrity.
 


Not a good start. Could win in the mediocre Big Ten, but nationally long way to go
