Sweet Caroline?

Let me clear my throat?

Tonight's going to be a good night?

Anything that gets our players and students fired up.

They are always lagging a little. Guessing Uptown Funk will be in the mix.

Didn't we have a really terrible multiple page thread about this very topic just a few months ago?

Land of 1000 dances
Willie and the hand jive
Dance, Dance, Dance ( Beach Boys)
Dance to the Music ( Sly and the Family Stone)
Your Love is lifting me higher ( Jackie Wilson )
Whole Lota Shaken ( Jerry Lee Lewis )

Good luck with that.

They want the fans to stay for the 4th quarter, not go home.

Where is Unregistered users, suggestion he usually has spot on picks.

I know the Gopher crowd has tended to lean a little on the older side over the years, but I don't think the Home Opener, Thursday night crowd with quite a few libations in them is going to get to fired up about 60's or 70's Soft rock, or classic R&B soul music.
Even if the game is being played on KOOL 108. Don't get me wrong some of the older music is good but these suggestions
are not going to fit tomorrow nights rowdy crowd. Land of 10,000 dances is a classic though, probably the only one that would fit a night game.

I'd add "I'm a classicman" That is if there is a radio edit.

I look forward to this type of ruppert post every time this thread is posted.

Kat Perkins Drive. Because I'm a homer, and I like the lyrics to mimic our running game, Drive Drive Drive, running and running and running alright. Fits the Gophers run game.

In the spirit of last year's Intro Song (X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons' "Jungle"), my suggestion is "Renegades" by X Ambassadors. I especially love the lyrics from 1:50 on. The Official Version is even better which includes people facing challenges in spite of obstacles. Song allows for clapping, singing, and getting burst of energy for fans heading into 4th Quarter.

4th Q

Setting Forth by Eddie Vedder.

Seeing as I'm pissing everybody off.
Nobody...Human Benz
Shout.... Eisley Brothers
Tarzan Boy...Baltimorea

Not your traditional type of song break, but I would love it.

Hopefully, this will be appropriate! The Gophers have had their share of sand kicked in their face.

Walk on life....Dire Straits
Time won't let me.....The Oursiders.
Disco Inferno....The Tramps

Top Bottom
