Something bad must have happened. You don't just fire a coach a week before the season unless you absolutely have to.

I would agree with this.
Too bad they didn't get to the bottom of it 4-5 months ago.
Maybe something new happened.
 


Illinois is going to be a dumpster fire this year. Which is good, we need easier wins...

Probably, but how do you do an entire year of recruiting with coaches that will be gone? I mean, they obviously felt he had to be gone, today. Which is fair enough. But it is going to sting that program for years...
 

Kill's name will come up after all the time he coached in the state. The Regents better not f-up the practice facility/
