Kids are gonna be upset when Pitino pulls the plug on Twitter midway through the season... Real curious as to why that's been a part of each of these videos so far.

Maybe Pitino realized that twitter really isn't going away and the best course of action is to teach these kids how to use it while in the public eye. We'll see how this season plays out to see if it becomes an issue or not.

I highly doubt Pitino thought if he banned Twitter for the season that it might just go away....

Don't disagree with the rest, but you can use Twitter responsibly, but that doesn't stop others from not doing so. I believe the issue last year was alluded to that the players were looking at the critiques they would received via Twitter too much and it was effecting their "mental toughness" (Don't think there were direct quotes, either we made that up here or there was some mention in the media). That also, will never change as long as Twitter allows annonymity.
