6-3 center Annalese Lamke was headed to Northern Illinois, but will join the Gophers after the NIU coach (Dick Bennett's daughter/Tony's sister) resigned in April. Got her release from NIU so should be eligible immediately. Good to have another big to go with 6-5 Buckingham.
Lamke, a second-team All-State selection by The Associated Press, averaged 19.8 points and 7.8 rebounds while shooting 63 percent from the floor in her final season at G-E-T.
