Gophers to Face Oklahoma State at Sanford Pentagon

The Pentagon is owned by Sanford Health. The Sanford Premier Center is owned by the city. T. Dennys owns neither.

Why the health system built such a thing and pays teams to show up is beyond me but it's been good for Sioux Falls sports fans even if it does nothing for the health outcomes of patients.

Sioux Falls is trying like crazy to land NCAA events. The Summit League tourney had been wildly successful. Although the two venues are not commonly owned there is much collaboration between Sanford people and the committee trying to make SF the new Dayton. I would think a sold out Premier Center would further that effort more so than a sold out pentagon.

Guys. If Stanford Health is paying for the tournament, it is going to be played in their arena. It doesn't matter the capacity.
