I believe there are series already on the schedule against them in the future. I think when they ceased to be a conference opponent, our school's self-imposed rule against scheduling out of conference games against teams with Indian names kicked in. Once NoDak resolved that issue, there was already a gap where all of the games had been scheduled for a few years so we couldn't get them on.
