per GopherSports:

For the 13th straight year, at least one Golden Gophers pitcher was selected in the Major League Baseball Draft. Lance Thonvold, Dalton Sawyer and Ben Meyer, who played under the tutelage of pitching coach Todd Oakes and 2015 interim pitching coach Scott Matyas, were all selected Wednesday.

Go Gophers!!

per Sid:

• Three Gophers baseball players were drafted but none of them plan to sign. Those drafted include Ben Meyer (New Brighton), Lance Thonvold (Eden Prairie) and Dalton Sawyer (Waconia). Thonvold, a righthanded pitcher, was selected in the 24th round by the Seattle Mariners; Sawyer, another righthander, was selected in the 27th round by the Twins; and Meyer, the Gophers pitcher of the year, was selected in the 29th round by the Marlins.

Go Gophers!!

Hey Sid, Sawyer is a left-handed pitcher.
That and he says none of them plan to sign. I'd be very surprised by that considering Meyer is a SR and Doogie tweeted yesterday there is a good chance Thonvold will sign.
