That is ... Not bad at all. Wow. I don't think it says much about where Trent is going, but Ponds committing. Man. Great!
I kind of took that whole twitter convo as sarcasm but that may be the pessimist in me.

Since deleted.
I do believe we were the clear leader in Ponds' recruitment at one point, but it could've changed since then. Mullin, for reasons I really don't understand, has gotten some buzz with St. John's. I guess we'll see.

You don't understand why athletes would want to play for one of the 50 greatest basketball players in history, who is a god at his school, and is geographically located in the heart of the highest concentration of basketball talent on Earth?

New York hasn't been producing basketball talent like they used to. I would say Chicago, LA, Indianapolis, and Memphis are producing better talent than NY.
He'd be the perfect finish to the 2016 recruiting class (we'll see what happens with Amir and the whole Fred situation first). If the Goohers found some way to get one of these two to pair with Hurt when all is said and done, the gophers will be sitting in good shape.
Personally, I'd like to see ONE of them, Hurt, and Bakary's younger brother (playing for a high school in Western Pennsylvania) as the class. There's also the possibility that Buggs might decide to do a grad transfer and another scholarship would open up after the season.
Assuming he didn't declare?
