per the Business Journal:

The Golden Gophers will play four prime-time football games in 2015, including two at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

ESPN will broadcast the Sept. 3 season opener against Texas Christian University in Minneapolis, Athletic Director Norwood Teague said Tuesday following a speech at an Association for Corporate Growth luncheon.

ESPN or ABC will also broadcast the Oct. 31 game against Michigan at TCF Bank Stadium, as well as the Nov. 7 game at Ohio State.

Prime Time + Halloween? The U of M PD must be thrilled:p

3 weeks in a row with a night game? I'll take it.

TCF is a fantastic venue for a night game. What are the possibilities that we could get a Halloween ESPN Game Day? Florida at Georgia looks like the only other decent game that day. Here's the schedule - I honestly (even take my homer cap off) believe that we're the best game:

It is the Little Brown Jug game and we have the jug. That should be worth something.

Two months into the season who knows. Today, it would likely be Auburn and Ole Miss. SBNation's composite of 8 "way too early" rankings has it #9 vs. #10.

Maybe. But It still doesn't have much pull. UM has been bad and MN is barely relevant

Miami (FL)*at*Duke
Ole Miss*at*Auburn
Georgia Tech*at*Virginia
Ole Miss*at*Auburn
South Carolina*at*Texas A&M

I beg to differ.

ESPN is going to help Coach Kill build a Monster! Love it.

Oh boy. October 31st is going to be fun.

agree but

That one caught my eye too, but there really isn't much else and those two may have other games of interest as might we too. Seems like a chance...if we start well. ha

(Four chances to embarrass ourselves)

Damn it! Why do I think that way???!!! .. Snap out of it, BarnBoy. We're a contender now.

It really just depends who NDSU is playing that day.

Suddenly all the naysayers who touted they didn't renew their season tickets out of some strange principal are all secretly wishing they had renewed their tickets. You know it's true.

They still could pretty easily buy a season ticket.

This is perfect for me. I can fly in that morning and leave the next afternoon. The OSU game is looking tempting too.

Count me in the minority of people who think that the Halloween night game is a great thing. Really sucks if you have young kids.

So now the question is am I going to Kinnick or saving my money for Indy,
