Jim Delaney sent out a 12-page paper advocating again for freshman ineligibility

And at the same time what is his position on the one and done?

To be fair, once all the NCAA penalties were reversed, the BT had little choice pr wise but lift sanctions also.

I respectfully disagree. It was a golden opportunity for the B1G to do the right thing while at the same time sending a message to the NCAA that they did a horribly wrong thing. But what is done is done.

This guy is the Roger Goodell of college football.... ruining the brand one crappy
idea at a time.

Neither has sunk as low as Gary Bettman.

The NHL is as good as it has ever been (I have never understood the Bettman-hate). Now, back to the topic: In theory I'm not totally against freshman ineligibility, but it would be disastrous for the Big 10 to do this without the other conferences also doing it. Bad idea - the conference would completely fall behind.

I tend to like the automatic redshirt. Coaches can't guarantee playing time. Come in and prove it.

Automatic redshirt is the key to this situation.
