What a second half

Tubby really fired those guys up to play in the second half. Even Hoffarber's injury was due to his hustle on the offensive boards. Sure hoping the best for him on a quick recovery.

Impressive games by DJ, Westbrook, Joseph, Busch. Sampson and Nolen were solid too. One thing on Sampson, I'd like to see him box out on the back side a bit more instead of going for all those blocks. He gives up a significant number of easy off. rebound buckets when he overextends for the block.

That full-court pressure in the second half was amazing, very very quick. Cornell was completely rattled, and it not only caused turnovers, but in this case Cornell ended up missing their shots when they actually got it across half court as well.

43-14 second half WOW. It was obvious that Tubby was done experimenting and went full-bore for the win after halftime. Smart coaching.

I couldn't see the game but listened to it on XM. It appears that Tubby really demonstrated that his reputation as a superior coach is well earned.
