From Leidner to Campbell and Murray, everyone must have good spring practices, the coordinators concur. The players that perform well will rise to the top of the depth charts for the next practice, and will have to keep earning it until Sept. 3 season opener vs. Texas Christian at TCF Bank Stadium.
"Whoever plays well that day is No. 1 and the next day they are a No. 1 and no different than during the season," Claeys said. "There are no gamers at the University of Minnesota."
