STrib: Gophers fall again in college men's hockey polls

The Gophers fell to No. 9 in the USCHO poll after a split in the annual Mariucci Classic. They've dropped in each of the last four polls.

North Dakota is the new No. 1 despite receiving fewer first-place votes than No. 2 Boston University and No. 3 Harvard. Minnesota State and Miami round out the top 5. Three Minnesota programs fill the top 9 with Minnesota Duluth at No. 7 and the Gophers No. 9.

The team just isn't very good and hasn't been most of the year despite Lucia's statements indicating all is well.
