per the Journal Sentinel:

Whether Minnesota tailback David Cobb is cleared to play Saturday against Wisconsin or remains out because of a hamstring injury, UW defensive coordinator Dave Aranda anticipates having to contend with quarterback Mitch Leidner all day.

Leidner rushed 22 times for 111 yards, 5.0 yards per carry, and two touchdowns in the Gophers' 28-24 victory over Nebraska.

"Their quarterback does a great job of being physical and he is a big guy," Aranda said. "A lot of the credit for that victory goes to him."

The 6-foot-4, 237-pound redshirt sophomore is second on the team in rushing yards (408) and rushing touchdowns (eight). Cobb, listed as questionable for the UW game, is third in the Big Ten in rushing with 1,430 yards. He has 12 rushing touchdowns.

"I anticipate a ton of quarterback run," Aranda said. "Early in the year they were conventional, or as conventional as Minnesota was last year. They've transformed themselves to where they are now a quarterback spread-run game. And they have had success since that transformation."
