"There was a time when Ryan Schlichte dreamed of playing football at a Division I program, perhaps in the Big Ten Conference. After his sophomore season, he attended many of the big-time camps and did well. But for whatever the reason, scholarship offers never came. "I had dreams of going Division I, but things happen," Schlichte said. "The chips fall where they fall, and I feel like I'm supposed to be at (Minnesota State)."
