At first I thought this was a recruiting thread. I was wondering what was going on as I hit up the fair.

those U of M logo's in the corners are new as well as the extra yellow and white lines off the field...right?

Will those be painted over/removed for Vikings games as well or are they trying to keep the change-over procedure to just the playing field? I wonder if the U wanted to add a couple more logos either to have them there during Vikes games or to stick it to the Vikings and make it a little more expensive to change.

They were there during the preseason games. I doubt they will be covered up for regular season NFL games but can't say for sure.

This is cool, and a great way to kick-start school spirit for the freshman class. I wish the U had done something like that when I was a freshman.

Agree, they've done a great job indoctrinating the freshmen during orientation. I think they teach most of the cheers and stuff with the band during this as well.
