Anyone else worried about Konate & Diedhiou not being on the team?

Thanks, I had not seen this. You actually left out a rather revealing part of the quote, which seems like a slight backpedal (before it was "they will be here in [x]," now it's "we feel confident"):

"Incoming freshmen Gaston Diedhiou and Bakary Konate are still not on campus, but Pitino said they have been cleared to play by the NCAA. “We feel confident that they will both be here in the fall,” he said."

So I'd guess they are waiting for U admissions. (Presumably visa issues would be taken care of once they are admitted as a full time college student). Not an issue of smarts, but of prior course work, credits at foreign schools, etc.

I originally tweeted out that it was Gaston Diedhiou on campus, but I was wrong. It was Bakary Konate, and I corrected myself on Twitter 30 minutes later.

Diedhiou has already been on campus this summer, and told me yesterday (Sunday) that he's coming next week. Whether he means next week as in the next Mon-Fri work week (which is now this week), or next week as in a full 7 days from now, I'm not sure. All that matters is that one is on campus, and the other said he's coming soon.
 

I still think we need Billy Crystal and Robert DiNiro do a new film titled Over Analyze This.

I don't know if we should call it 1 for 2, 2 for 2, or whatever and frankly it doesn't matter. But it is a little ironic that the source you cite for all six being on campus is the same guy you discredited last week as having no sources. Just saying.....I'll move on now too.
