Connor Vanover is an eighth grader from Little Rock, Ark. He also so happened to sprout up from 6’6″ to 7’1″ in the last nine months. Vanover won’t graduate from high school until 2018, but there are already Internet highlight tapes of him knocking down 3-pointers and swatting away shots of kids half his size.

He has good hands and control for his size. I bet he puts on 25 pounds over the next four years and will be a major prospect
 

Has Pitino offered him yet? Sure hope he has, this kid would be a giant get for the program
 


Reminds me of Carson Shanks as an 8th grader. This kid is quite a bit more skilled/athletic than Carson, but he was around 7ft and a bit thicker.
 

Pretty amazing the skills he has being that age and that size. An interesting name to keep an eye on in the future I guess.
 


7 foot 8th graders.

This kid reminds me of the "Dunkin Dutchman" Rick Smits. As an NBA player 7-4 250 with a very nice mid range shot especially from the high post.
