Every day I look forward to these pictures. Lots of good memories. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

Personally my favorite is Goldie! KJ Maye be number one for you but nothing is better than Goldie Gopher!

the only thing better than "Goldie Gopher" is Goldy Gopher! ;)

Goldy Gopher is a he. Goldie Gopher is a she. You are questionable now regarding your sexual orientation, Go4.

Dan Nystrom's kick over high flying LaVar Arrington and Courtney Brown is perhaps my fondest memory of all-time. It was the first time I ever remember thinking Gopher football had finally emerged out of the depths of years past. I started to get that same feeling this last year and this year I have a feeling we will get this kind of signature win. The difference is I have a ton more respect for Coach Kill than I did for Mason.

Gophers7, I never knew that. Thanks for sharing.

I couldn't quite get the image of Nystrom's game winning kick to work out. I thought holy crap. So I reposted without the image. I should just stop trying to get fancy I guess.

The player that has always stood out for me was Ryan Roth number 66.

+1 Roth and the player to his left(Between Burns and Roth) really got a surge. The depth of there push gave Nystrom enough to clear the line of scrimmage and the rest is history.

It's Friday!! Friday brings us to 27

The other two players who gave Nystrom the confidence as a freshman we two seniors. One the long snapper Derek Rackley and holder/punter Ryan Rindels

For sure, husker. People almost never mention the underlings, who have to perform at perfection for the hero to succeed. Just ask any offensive lineman!!!
