per the Pioneer Press:

Former University of Minnesota hockey player Cory Laylin is returning to Hamline University as the school's men's hockey coach.

Laylin, who played for the Gophers from 1989-92, was an assistant coach at Hamline from 2008-10.

"I'm very excited to be coming back to Hamline; it's where I got the coaching bug," Laylin, a St. Cloud native, said in a statement. "I learned about (Division III) hockey in my time here. This is a great, very competitive league. I'm looking forward to getting to work to build this team into being a contender."
